Welcome to our Buffet!

I am experimenting with a new element to the Reading
Restaurant this year. In addition to the wonderful fare offered by the students
here in the classroom, I would like to invite you to read and listen to the
students reading some of their writing online.

I encourage you to post a comment
when you are through. I will be walking about throughout our time together to
support you with this endeavor. You can also access this from home, and extended
family and friends can view, listen, and post a comment as well.

Thank you for your help in making
this possible!

Eli's Post

Eli's Poems:

April
April is when summer is coming and school ends
We play with friends
The dogs play outside and we play and catch frogs!

Green Grass
Green grass you know it is April
When green grass grows
And frogs croak for mates
Animals roam
They eat the green grass
That is when the green grass grows.

Eli,
I agree with your Green Grass poem. Seeing all the green around, we know spring is arriving. It makes me smile knowing the sun is getting warmer. Nice descriptive poem.
